FibreLoc Limited is a new security technology company, based in Fife, Scotland. We have developed and patented a revolutionary anti-counterfeiting solution with applications in brand protection, pharmaceuticals, identity documents, tax and customs, security documents and event ticketing.

Counterfeiting represents around 10% of World trade, causing brand owners to look at secure methods of protecting their products, while global terrorism concerns are leading the way for more robust and traceable security features on documents such as passports and visas. The patented FibreLoc system combines established and proven paper manufacturing techniques and digital image analysis technologies to provide an encoding and verification system that ensures a unique 'fingerprint' for every item processed.

The FibreLoc technology was developed as a joint venture involving Raspberry Vision, a software and technology consultancy firm and Tullis Russell Group, a manufacturer of high-quality papers and security coatings with representation in over 50 countries world-wide. The company is working with systems integrators, security printers and technology manufacturers to offer a complete anti-counterfeiting solution to brand holders, governments, law enforcement agencies and event promoters.
